Hello,
Welcome to the Arkansas International Competition family. I am very excited about your interest in competing and would like to know more about you. Please fill in our on-line information request form so I may forward you an application.
I think it is always important to know something about the State Director so I will give you a brief history on who I am and what all I have been involved in. I am the Executive Director of Crown Image Productions, and have been involved in the pageant industry for over 30 years as a judge, director, contestant and a coach. A former Miss Jonesboro, Miss Eastern Arkansas, Top Ten in the Miss Arkansas USA Pageant for two years, Mrs. North Carolina America, and Mrs. North Carolina USA / International in 1990. After receiving my Bachelors Degree in Public Relations from Arkansas State University in 1980, I became a Flight Attendant in 1982. As a Cancer survivor and spokesperson for the American Cancer Society I speak on the importance of early detection and prevention of melanoma. Throughout the years I have worked for several major cosmetic companies as a training specialist and make-up artist. With Crown Image I am working in design and interior decorating.
The International Pageant first started with the Mrs. Arkansas International competition when is was established in 1985. I first was the Director for the Mrs. North Carolina International pageant in 1990 and then became the director for Arkansas 1994. In the years that I have been a director for the International system, we have had several ladies finish in the Top 10 at Nationals and top five. I am very proud of all of our delegates and all of their accomplishments. Many of the ladies that have competed on our stage have gone on to compete and hold other State and National Titles. That just goes to show you that hard work and determination is part of what makes these women great.
The Miss Teen Arkansas International and Miss Arkansas International Competitions are a great way for you to get experience and work toward your dreams.
We promote women competing in all systems and encourage everyone to find the competition that best individually suits them. If you haven't experienced the Crown Image Production, Inc. form of pageantry then we would love to have you as a contestant. One thing I can guarantee, is that you will go home with a wonderful experience and lots of gifts and prizes.
We have the Little Miss Arkansas International, Miss Teen Arkansas International, and Miss Arkansas International Competitions held the same weekend as the Mrs. Arkansas International Competition. This is a fun way to give these young ladies an opportunity to meet married women throughout Arkansas and set up a great mentoring network. Please click on to the Miss Teen Arkansas International page and get more information on how to enter. From the state pageants we were able to give college scholarships to students throughout Arkansas. This is a great part of the pageant that helps our community.
