1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
1. I had a wonderful childhood with two loving parents until my dad let alcohol take over his life when I was 13. He turned abusive and it became no longer safe for my two younger sisters, my mom, and me to be around him. Life has changed for me but I am a strong person and my faith has helped a lot.

2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
2. My mom is a single parent and I’ve had to help out in ways that most kids don’t. Mom has done whatever she can to support us, but the cost of living is too much. I love the job I work at, but I lose the opportunity to go to school events and study, because I need to earn money to help support my family.

3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
3. Because of what I have been through, I have a burning passion to help those in need. I will find ways to give people the bare necessities of life like others have given me. I have helped get coats and food for kids who do not have these basic things that most people take for granted.

4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
4. My passion for others does not stop in my community. I went on a mission trip to Ecuador serving the orphans of the jungle at La Casa De Fe. I helped build a wall around the orphanage to keep the kids inside and the tribal members and townspeople out. I also spent time with the orphans reading, singing, and connecting with them on many levels.

5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
5. I've been blessed by being chosen for many different things this year. Winning Miss Teen North Dakota International was a definite highlight and in addition, I was voted president of the student council and chosen to be an officer of the Philanthropy and Youth group. I was also voted homecoming queen, captain of my softball team, and received the Presidential Silver Academic Scholarship for College.
